Piha !!!!!

Me and my class had happened to go to a trip to..... PIHA!
Well.... it started at school one day and we had been given a permisson slip/notice, when everyone finally knew about the trip they started to bring their permisson slip saying that they were allowed to come. But the thing was we had to pay five dollars each person that went. We waited, waited and waited until it was the day of the trip! Most people didn't pay so they couldn't really go :(

A few days later......
" Yay, I'm so excited that the trip is today!!!!" that was what i had heard from a lot of people.
Anyway, it was the day of our trip to Piha, most people went , but a few didn't, why? because they didn't bring their slips back. But it was ok, so we went on the bus.

A few seconds later.... it became minutes.... a few minutes later....
WE WERE AT PIHA!!!!!
We got off and went inside the Piha rescue place and went upstairs and met three lifeguards named......
Sarah, Aubrey, Simone (did you know that Aubrey was american)
Anyway they said things what we were going to do that day and they also introduced themselves :) They also told us the rules. So we had to have morning tea then wear our togs for some lessons of swimming. But first we played games called................ Octopus, Captains coming and an activity. You maybe wondering what the activity was, well the activity was that we had to line up in our numbers that Sarah gave to us and race to the to the other side of the beach, pick up a rescue tube, place our forehead on top of it and spin three times, then run back to our team.It was a lot of fun even though we all got dizzy from all that spinning.

So we went swimming (I didn't really know what they did in the water because i didn't go swimming)
We went back and had some lunch after that we gathered together and did this questioning game.
They even told us a saying:

Slip- on some loose clothing
Slop- on some sunscreen
Slap- on a hat
Wrap- on some sunglasses
Slide- under a shade

And that's what we did at Piha!!!!!!
