Hello , on Wednesday Mr.Walker read us a book called ''The day the crayons quit ''
It was about a kid named 'Duncan' who had crayons. One day Duncan came home from school and found a pack of letters, that read 'To: Duncan' He opened each one of them and read them one by one.
It was all from his crayons, some crayons quit because they are too short or he doesn't use them properlyor maybe having troble with other crayons. Mr. Walker then told us to write a letter to ourselfs, just like what happened in the story and the things we had to add to it was a colour crayon, envolope, and most important why your crayon quit. We had a really great time

  1. It is great that you enjoyed this book so much, which letter to Duncan was your favourite? What was the best part of these lessons - listening to the story, writing your own letter with a crayon, brainstorming the words or making your own envelopes?

  2. Hiya Grace,
I really liked your post because you expressed very strongly why you liked doing this enjoyable activity. I liked doing this activity mostly because you get to do it with your friends and how you brainstorm your activities and use a lot of vocabulary. I am sure you learnt a lot from this. The colour which I used was Magenda, since it is sort of pinkish-purple.
What was your favourite part in doing this activity?

    Renitta:)
